Boudoir inspiration from Frou Frou Fashionista…

I don't recall how I discovered Frou Frou Fashionista, but it was love at first sight. According to their site, Frou Frou Fashionista "showcases the limitless styling options with lingerie and inspires readers to build their own intimate apparel wardrobe.  It also aims to redefine the lingerie industry in a positive light; demystifying the stigma created by the less classy side of the industry and revealing its very glamorous potential." The gals behind the blog are a mother-daughter team who also run a super-lovely, award-winning luxury lingerie boutique just outside Los Angeles called Faire Frou Frou. We LOVE what they're doing and feel like we need to make a special trip out to California to take in all the loveliness of their boutique in-person! When our latest bombshell booked her photography session here at our downtown Nashville studio, she knew exactly what she wanted - vintage pinup. We encouraged her to bring a variety of pieces so we could work with her to assemble a top-notch bombshell-approved wardrobe for her shoot. We had so many lovely pieces to choose from:

Once our bombshell chose her top 3 outfits, it was time for hair and makeup. We chose berry shades to create a smoky eye and topped off her glam look with sultry red lips:

Any "rainy day" can not be all bad if you are rocking some marabou feathers! This little retro feeling get up was so flirty, fun and girly that we just could not help "camping" it up. M was such a sport striking pin-up pose after pin-up pose for us! Don't we all wish we had her mile long legs!!!
